bcm57786 doesn't recognize

hi everybody,my acer aspire laptop has bcm57786 ethernet card but when i opened live slitaz 5.0

my wired lan does not show eth0,it is showing dummy0,lo,tunl0 when i configured dummy0 but it is not work

i configured on rcS.conf load modules first broadcom and tg3 but no success.

when i bashed: ifconfig etho and the result -> ifconfig: eth0: error fetching interface information: Device not found

execuse me but my laptop is not near me but my ethernet card is BCM57786 NetXtreme Gigabit ethernet

i bashed lspci command before.

The tg3 kernel module and tigon firmware are on the slitaz-5.0 live cd.

Check dmesg for errors.

Googled around BCM57765 and found: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=150&t=155202

Problem will be solved in the new Linux Kernel (3.13 in that forum topic). Alas, SliTaz provided only Linux Kernel 3.2.53 at the moment and here is no plan to move to the newer Kernels, sorry.

hi everybody i solved my ethernet problem.

1-download linux libre kernel 3.16.7

2- http://doc.slitaz.org/en:guides:kernel  i compiled

3-and reboot with new kernel

eth0 came it is working best

slitaz with kernel 3.16.7 smile
