I have a long-running slitaz installation on an old pc which is able to recharge packages. I just ran this a few minutes ago:

A minute later I ran the same command from a 'slitaz-4.0-base.iso' running in a VM, and I get this:

It's not a networking issue. The same VM is able to ping out, and I'm able to scp and rsync from it. Prior to 10 minutes ago this VM was able to recharge but suddenly is unable. I've rebooted the VM from a fresh 'slitaz-4.0-base.iso' and it still can't recharge, while the physically installed slitaz on another machine is able to. Does anyone know why this might be happening? Did I recharge too frequently or something (I've been testing various cooking options all morning) but still, I only recharged maybe half a dozen times as I rebooted the VM from fresh ISOs...

Interesting.. I just ran 'tazlito writeiso' from the VM that can't recharge. I booted another VM with the resulting ISO, and it *is* able to recharge, but the original VM still won't recharge...

it is a server side issue, if you delete /var/lib/tazpkg/ID (or tazlito writeiso) and try again you'll get probably a working IP/server [or not working again] and so just try again...

I was able to solve it, or at least somehow get around it, by shutting down Virtualbox entirely, then restarting it and booting up the problem VM. It was able to recharge at that point. Maybe that's effectively the same result as what you suggested?

yes my friend, Aleksej suggested on another thread, I was using 4.0 but 5.0 rc3 also having similar problem
