Olá, uso o Linux mas não tenho mta experiência. Baixei a última versão do Slitaz e queimei a ISO num CD de áudio. Dei o boot, apareceu a interface de navegação mas infelizmente não consigo carregar o live. Tudo que se apresenta é uma tela preta com um ponto minúsculo de cor vermelha. O que posso fazer?

Hey there, I am Linux user but I haven't much experience with it. I downloaded the ultimate Slitaz version and I burned the ISO in an audio CD. In the boot, it shows the navegation interface but unfourtunately I can't get the Live Slitaz. All that shows me it just a black screen with a little red point. What I can do for?

@Alexsw, como o @eugen-b disse, o problema provavelmente está ligado à placa de vídeo. O Slitaz não deve estar reconhecendo.
Tente testar em outro computador só para garantir que o CD foi gravado certinho.
Se o problema for só no seu PC, manda aqui a configuração da máquina.

Bem, eu tentei em outro PC, no qual eu irei intalar o Slitaz de fato. Eu tentei inúmeras vezes hoje, mas eu não consegui por o dito cujo nele.
Primeiramente, eu estava usando um PC bem antigo (outro), algo como 221 MB de RAM, Intel Celeron 2.26Ghz, e um HD com cerca de 40 gb. Bom para tarefas, simples e medíocres.
Quando eu coloco o CD nele, abre corretamente, depois da seleção da opção "Slitaz live", mostra-me uma janela de linguagem, mas quando eu seleciono o português aparece uma outra tela preta.
Então eu tentei ir para a "Languages" bem abaixo na lista, a selecionar a opção portuguesa, e miraculosamente eu posso acessar o Live corretamente... Mas, de qualquer forma, quando eu tento jnstalar o Slitaz eu tenho outros problemas.
Primeiro, de novo, o Gparted não abre.
2. Eu decidi ignorar e seguir adiante. Então eu escolhi o disco /dev/hdb1/ e deixei como ext3 (formatação), bem, depois. Depois eu escolhi outros. As outras opções eu não alterei. Eu ainds escolhi o Grub bootloader, mas eu já tentei sem isso. Eu cliquei em instalar e fui adiante... Deu tudo certo até aí. Eu reiniciei e a seguinte mensagem apareceu-me: hd1, 0, error 21 o disco selecionado não existe.
Se eu tentar sem o grub a seguinte mensagem aparece: grub carregando... error 15. Eu tentei instalar o Slitaz um monte de vezes, nmas de todo o jeito, não dá certo. Se bem que eu estava sem conexão. O que eu faço ?
Well, I've tried in another PC, wich I'll install the O. S. indeed. I tried a lot of tjmes today, but I can not get the Slitaz inside!
Firstlly, I was using a very old PC (another), about 221 MB the RAM, Intel Celeron 2.26Ghz, and a HDD about 40 GB. Good to homework, just simple and mediocre things.
When I put the CD in it, it opens correctly, after selecting the "Slitaz live" opition, shows me a language window, but when I select the portuguese opition just another black screen shows me.
Then Itried go to "Languages" below in the list, selecting the portuguese opition, and for a miracle I can acces the Live correctly... BUUUUT anyway, when I try to install the O. S. I have a lot of problems.
First, again, the Gparted doesn't open.

I've chose the Grub bootloader too, but I already tried without that. I cliked in install and went ahead... everything worked untill there. I've tried to install slitaz a lot of times, but any way, it doesn't work.I was without conection. What can I do now?

Acho que ficou confuso. Bem, a tela preta com o ponto vermelho era outro computador. O problema é agora com o velho.

Olá!
Algumas dicas simples que podem ajudar:
1- eu já tive problemas com uma certa versão semanal do Slitaz. Dava uns erros esquisitos na hora de instalar. O que me recomendaram é aguardar a próxima versão semanal. Como o Slitaz é rolling release, sai uma versão nova a cada semana, geralmente aos domingos.
Espere até domingo e baixe a versão mais recente, para ver se o problema persiste.
2- use o checksum MD5 para verificar se o arquivo ISO que você baixou não está corrompido. Por ter ocorrido algum erro durante o download.
3- O Live CD do Slitaz roda melhor com 512MB de RAM. -> opção "Slitaz Live"
Quando aparece a tela de opções de boot, escolha uma das que vem escritas abaixo da "Slitaz Live" (segunda linha pra frente). Elas consomem menos RAM e podem funcionar.
O problema pode ser falta de RAM suficiente para o Live rodar, por isso pode estar travando na inicialização.
Espero ter sido de alguma ajuda. 
EDIT: o Slitaz não precisa de conexão à internet para ser instalado.

Eu consegui instalar, mas depois do boot aparece uma janela de escolha do idioma, e após eu clicar (ou até mesmo sem clicar) aparece uma tela preta e fica nisso mesmo. Estou frustrado.

Vamos tentar mais um truque: alterar as opções de boot.
Já tentou adicionar "nomodeset" nas opções de boot, após a opção "vga=XXX"?
Pode ser algum problema de compatibilidade com a placa de vídeo.
Quais são suas configurações de placa de vídeo?

Nao faço a minima ideia de como fazer isso que me disse. E o Slitaz ainda esta aqui, sem funcionar. Estou enviando um arquivo com informaçoes do CPU. Eu andei pesquisando sobre essa tela de teclado que aparece apos a instalaçao, mas nao tive muito sucesso. De toda a forma, estou usando uma opçao de Live do CD para escrever essa mensagem... A sorte q o PC n me pertence, pq senao ja teria o jogado na barroca. N tenho mta paciencia nao.
