You have installed a program that has created a conflict with pcmanfm's management of the desktop.
Uninstall the program that is causing the conflict to stop the error.

I've also faced this problem of desktop not starting after a logout-login. Did not find a solution but usually another logout-login cycle solves it.

I have two computers running Slitaz 5 RC-3 both are have the same package installed because usage is the same. so that won't make any problem. it was no problem until I logged out.
I tried the log out and log in again but not solved.
thanks friends

Sorry, this is not totally clear:
- you have two computers with exactly the same packages, one shows the problem and not the other?
- are the computers different?
- are you running Live, or hard disk installs?
- is this exactly RC3 with no updates? or regularly updated packages?

Did you try to reboot the faulty computer?
Also, edit ~/.xinitrc and replace [c]LOG="/dev/null"[/c] with e.g. [c]LOG=~/.xsession-errors[/c] .
Log out, log in, read that log (post it here between backquotes ` if it's not too long, or paste it http://paste.slitaz.org and post the link here).
