system worse after tazpkg up

31 packages were update, seem to be important stuff

after upgrade,

- the system does not recognize the resolution any more

- the extra mouse (laptop with panel; panel works!) does not work any more

did reinstall the system according the last iso and print out the list of the 31 new package to update manually. which one can be responsible for above disturbs?

ive had that behaviour twice.

running lsmod gave me no results (an empty list), i presume you have that too..

some kernel/module trouble i believe.

actually i still have a rootfs.gz which boots with this error.

any advice what i could check?

@Kenneth: first I'd check consistency between modules and kernel, by trying to load them manually.
