Compile tazweb qt version from source

I'm trying to compile the qt version of tazweb browser from source in my 64 bit Debian testing machine.  Compiled it with Qt 4.8.7,  failed with Qt 5.5.1.

Now the problems

1. When I start tazweb, it complains that [c]/home/$USER/.config/slitaz/subbox.conf[/c]  not found and asking for root password. Type anything and hit enter, no need of root password, and it starts.

2. No navigation bar or bookmark bar is showing !

3. On right click, only one menu item just reload button, nothing else, while the default one in slitaz shows many options.

What is the problem ? Could it be fixed ? I really like the tazweb, it's superfast and the compiled binary is 12 KB !!

Re: Compile tazweb qt version from source

This is not "qt version of tazweb" really, just my first try to use Qt in C. It doesn't contains any panel, bar, code for more windows, nothing except you see, that's why:

Re: Compile tazweb qt version from source

First thanks for reply.

I posted this dumb question without reading the source code, main.cpp and tazweb.pro .

By the way, will the it support a navigation panel, bookmark bar etc.  In near future ? Truly I don't have the skill set to do so.

I'm currently using it to view HTML files and mhtml web archives.
