Slitaz Ubuntu LoRam on IGEL Compact 3200 LX Thin Client

Hello,

i have an IGEL Compact 3200 LX Thin Client with 128MB RAM.

I want to install Slitaz LoRam Flavor (slitaz-4.0-RC2-loram.iso) on it.

I tried it with tazusb and unetbootin (freezes on SYSLINUX Screen).

edit: got it installes with rufus installler but now after loading it freeze with a black screen sad

Any ideas?

the Igel has a Via 533 CPU - RC2 is not working - see this thread:

the libre version is not available any more - so you have to stay with 3.0 at the moment - after releasing 4.0 the devs will look to fix this bug.

Hi,

I tried it with slitaz 3.0 loram now - same issue.

after setting a manual resolution, it start xorg, I can login with root/root.

But it seems to have a big problem with the cpu - almost at 100% after starting any programs like midori or other tools.

Then system freeze after some minutes -.-

I will try 4.0rc2 with the same manual resolution setting as boot param later ...
