Salve a tutti,
Ho appena installato Slitax5.5 sul mio vecchio Sony Vaio amdK6533Mhz 533MBram
Il problema é che non mi funziona internet attraverso la PCMCIA card
Non sono pratico di Linux anche se ho passato molte ore nei vari forum, guide ecc cercando una soluzione.
Qualcuno mi può aiutare?

Ciao, ti rispondo io anche se non sono molto ferrato con le nuove versioni di slitaz.
Scusa l'OT, ma permettimi prima una domanda: ho anch'io un Sony vaio che mi fa tribolare. Non accetta il reboot, esce dalla grafica arriva in fondo quasi a riavviarsi, poi si ferma lì. Debbo forzare lo spegnimento con il tasto d'alimentazione.
Per caso lo fa anche il tuo?
Torniamo alla scheda di rete
qual'è esattamente il tuo modello di notebook (k6533 non mi dice nulla)?
Posta l'output di ifconfig lspci ed lsmod, che proviamo a capire insieme di che interfaccia di rete si tratta.

Il mio PC non ha problemi di reboot (funziona bene anche il logout e il shutdown)

Non capisco molto di questi output, gradirei qualche idea che mi aiuti a far funzionare la PCMCIA ethernet card. (sotto WinXP funzionava)

Bene, meglio per te se non hai problemi di reboot, ma adesso parliamo della versione di slitaz che hai scelto: la versione che hai provato risale ad un anno fa (SliTaz 5.0 RC-3 release - 20 May 2015)
ed era una prerelease con dei gravi bug, che è morta prima di nascere.

We released RC-1 to RC-3, but never released the 5.0.

Non mi chiedere il motivo di questa scelta, non la capisco neppure io. 
Io stesso ci ho perso del tempo nel fare delle prove, ma visto i problemi e la tendenza di slitaz ci ho rinunciato completamente.
Cosa proporti come alternativa non saprei nemmeno io, qui spingono per la rolling

At first, sorry my English here: I don't know Italian.
I search your device over Internet and found questions with the range 2001-2008 years. SliTaz is like other Linuxes: generally it not reinventing the wheel, it only wants to be the light — so if anyone was found the solution, then we can adopt it to SliTaz.
I found your card needs the driver called "cs89x0_cs".
I search for the file with this name over all existing SliTaz packages and found none:

We have no this driver in our packages and never had...
I found only one called "cs89x0" (without "_cs" at the end), and this Kernel module is already included in the package "linux" already installed in the SliTaz.
Next details... Kernel module is a file that ended with ".ko" (for Kernel Object) and may be compressed: ".ko.gz", ".ko.xz"...
Unfortunately, Google knows nothing, literally nothing, about "cs89x0_cs.ko" — it not exists on the Earth I think.
Google knows only about "cs89x0_cs.o". Oh, I understand: ".o" it is old format of the Kernel modules. Plus, recalled the time: 2001-2008 years — it is the time for old Linux Kernel 2.2 with it's ".o" modules...
Really I don't know, maybe your card is no more supported since Kernel 2.2 back to 2001, or maybe some other driver now supports it? Maybe, Mojo helps you... I only can advice to debug the card in next way: remove and insert the card, then issue the command "dmesg" in the terminal and post here about 20 last lines.

I've tried many version of linux (ex: slitaz3,ylmf3,slitaz4in1-weekli-Live,ConnochaetOS14,TinyLinux,Lubuntu10.04,..) but none works with my IBM Etherjet pcmcia card
(only WinXP)

ok I try to make things clear...
I have a Toshiba Portege R100 - which is slightly better than yor Sony... and it really gets pain to work with it, because the grafic card does not check the new browsers and websits - like I can not book any train tickets or hotels on booking com....
midori crashes very often - just opening firefox takes ages and with opera you can somehow work.....
I will send you the card, but before have a look on some laptops:

they are all under 250 € - and you will have much better performance. But SliTAz will not run on it - only Ubuntu or Fedora, because only they have support for new Atom CPUs and UEFI

Grazie kultex, sono senza parole, sei molto gentile.
Per il laptop ho intenzione di chiederlo a un amico, Seba, che ha un piccolo laboratorio-shop di nome pcmacwire. Così gli do un po' di lavoro, (non ha molti clienti credo, ma si impegna e fa anche altri lavori per arrotondare).
Il mio Vaio son riuscito a farlo funzionare ma con WinXP, ed é molto lento con internet (devo usare un vecchio firefox v31. Certo che come viaggiava bene con Slitaz (senza internet) é impressionante.
