Luving latest Rolling on my eeePC701 everything is brilliant and quick until I start to use a browser. Midori doesn't play nice and drops out of gmail before it starts....it's nice, light and fast (sort of)!
Tazweb gets me to the point of being able to read my emails in HTML because it is an unsupported browser.
In this day of monster sized browsers is there a reasonable unit that will play well with gmail even if I have to sacrifice some space and time.

Go to this page in Midori to set HTML Gmail: https://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=html
IMO firefox official is the best most secure browser,it has built-in online updater and runs on low spec hardware. Installing ffmpeg gives full html5 support for youtube if the hardware is capable.

Thanks for your help, Mojo. Especially regarding HTML on Gmail.
Firefox is good but heavy on my hardware but I use it......as downloaded from package manager I get warned that this version is no longer supported and I should update. Is there a way to become more current with Firefox?
