Hi!
After leaving Slitaz away for a long time (upgrade my laptop for a dual gpu for which i gave up with Slitaz
) , I upgrade my old EEEpc with lastest Slitaz. Problem, with Slitaz 4 and lxrandr i was able to plug external screen and have 1920x1080 . Now with cooking, the external screen is stucked to the inner res of the EEE : 1024x600 despite I installed xorg-xf86-video-intel and all its dependencies. How can i know where the problem is and resolve it ?
Idea : why not creating an online hardware detecting solution .. or create within Slitaz a wizard which help to detect/install/configure the hardware (at least wifi and graphics) from a huge package containing all the drivers/firmwares so far .. After getting everything right, removing all the unnecessary stuff from the rootfs and make new image/iso
thx
Btw, see graphics card autodetect button in Tazpanel -> Hardware -> Summary. Don't use it now - Try to remove linux-drm package and use xorg-xf86-video-intel package from SliTaz4.0 repos installed on SliTaz 5.0. And show output of [c]lspci[/c]

Hi, thx for reply.
I removed linux-drm, reset tazpkg to stable, reinstall xorg-xf86-video-intel (2.15 i think) , removed again linux-drm .. but didnt work.. the picture is still up-left corner with 1024*600 even after is log off and re-log with slim .
I'm Ok with SLitaz 4 , but it comes with Firefox only
and im pretty sure it will bug if I only update Firefox
