Ciao Nicola, mi sbaglio o mi sa che non sei su una versione recente di slitaz.
Su di una live rolling (chissà quale versione... bah) ho provato a dare quei comandi, e va a buon fine!

Mi debbo scusare ma prima debbo un doveroso saluto a Bellard, pietra miliare di SliTaz 
poi per quel che riguarda Vivaldi e la sua installazione su sistemi più datati, aspetterei consigli da chi è più esperto. Io non lo apprezzo (troppo gooogleiano...) comunque scaricare scompattare e convertire il pacchetto originale, non è difficile, ma occorre avere almeno una versione di glibc superiore a GLIBCXX_3.4.15.
Per scoprirlo dai in terminale
/lib/libc.so.6
poi posta qui il risultato. Se nessuno si fà avanti, e vuoi lo stesso tentare manualmente di installarlo, proverò ad aiutarti.

mi accodo al saluto per Bellard, che ringrazio.....
non lo conoscevo ma credo che chi si dedica ad un software di nicchia ma validissimo, meriti quantomeno un riconoscimento verbale; lo stesso ringraziamento lo rinnovo al suo omologo italiano... un certo Gibor
venendo a noi; Vivaldi lo sto testando perche' il vecchio opera 12.16 (che a mio parere e' il browser piu' personalizzabile che esista) mi crea diversi problemi; vivaldi e' molto personalizzabile (scorciatoie da tastiera ecc...) e mi pare piu' fluido e reattivo....
di seguito quello che mi hai chiesto, comunque ho visto che hanno rilasciato la nuova rolling (SliTaz 5.0 Rolling release (weekly) - 03 Jul 2016), provo a testarla su vari pc e se funge provo vivaldi su quest'ultima rella....
