SliTaz SliTaz Forum archive

This forum is now a read-only archive

The SliTaz community has moved to Maille, a forum made for SliTaz.

We looked hard for a replacement for this aging forum, including a move from bbPress to FluxBB last June. But spam bots now get through sign-up even with mail confirmation, and these forum engines are barely maintained anymore. So we wrote a forum in the SliTaz spirit: small, fast, no JavaScript, works on old machines and in text browsers. Everything here stays readable.

Suggestion: Snapy/Flatpak packages for Slitaz.

Hi, I already tested way too much light distros, even ones that run entirely in RAM, and no one come close to Slitaz in speed & functions. However, the packages i can choose in the repository are a bit limited, and due to the small userbase plus the unique package manager, i think this won't will change soon.

So, will we have Snappy/Flatpak on Slitaz newer versions? It will solve many problems when trying to install programs that are not in the repo.
