I posted a help request recently as I could not access the admin log on in CUPS. Well having solved that the sweel smell of success has been soured by a couple of issues I now have.
1. Cups does not start when the PC starts and I have to start it manually. How can I get CUPS to start automatically when I log in.
2. I can print a test page and I can print from leafpad but Libre Office (although it says print to HP920C) does nothing.
Many thanks

I should have said I am using slitaz 3.

1. Open /etc/rcS.conf as root in a text editor. Add cupsd to RUN_DAEMONS=""
Cups daemon will be auto started on boot.
2. Printing works from LibreOffice-3.5.3.2/Libre Office writer on my slitaz-3.0
Check these items:
http://127.0.0.1:631/jobs/
Click "show all jobs"
Are the print jobs from writer listed ?
If yes then

Thanks mojo. I installed the printer as follows
Tazhw setup printer
Installed hplip and hal-cups-utils
I then ran hp-setup and followed on screen prompts.
My printer shows up at http://localhost:631
Test page and leafpad print. No printing in libreoffice.
Printer is shown as idle with no jobs.

Just giving this a bump. Any suggestions please. I really need to print from Libreoffice.
Thank you.

If you can print from leafpap, something must be wrong in your Libreoffice config.
Are you trying to print in pdf? If yes, try to change printer language to "postscript from driver"
