If you're talking about aMule 2.3.1 RC1, then I have some bad news. There is a bug caused by wxWidgets versions prior to 2.8.12 ( http://forum.amule.org/index.php?topic=18779.0 ). Stable provides version 2.8.10 and Cooking has version 2.8.11 - meaning both needs an update to use the latest aMule. Cooking does however come with a working SVN snapshot
