Thunderbird question

Hi.  I see Slitaz uses a very old version of Thunderbird.  This is sad.  But it can work.  I've installed Lightning and Provider for Google Calendar.  In newer versions, it simply asks you for your username and password to connect to the calendar.  This older version wants the path to a remote file. I've tried the ical file but nothing syncs.  The html path doesn't do anything.  What is it looking for here?  Does anyone else use Provider for Google Calendar?  Thanks.
