how to know the motherboard name without dmidecode ?

Hello I have 2 pc with slitaz 4 and I want to know how many ram I can put in.

I did dmidecode as on a ubuntu, debian but this command doesn't work.

I followed an advice of this forum :

root@slitaz:/home/tux# cat /sys/devices/virtual/dmi/id/board_*

Portable PC

$$C044J1EV

TOSHIBA

Version A0

root@slitaz:/home/tux#

nothing on google for C044J1EV

Those pc are a toshiba spa40 ( pentium 4, ram: pc 2700) and a toshiba S1800 (pentium ? ram sdr133/pc 133S)

And no answer on french forum (???)
