I have Slitaz (rolling) running in a virtual machine for development purposes.
I have setup the box how I like it, but a while ago I noticed my login prompt has gone away. I can still access the box via SSH, but if something goes wrong with the network setup, I have no way to acces the box.
When I boot it, it goes through the usual starting procedure and stops at "Welcome to your box".
It does show a cursor and I can type things, but it doesn't do anything with it.
It has worked, but somehow stopped working a while ago. What could cause this, and how can I solve this?

Hi elwin,
Seems like this close to the topic: http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/libpng16so16-no-such-file-or-directory

Hi elwin,
How much is "a while ago", approximately?
Are you talking about the graphical login screen to an X session, or the text login at the virtual console?

I am not sure when it happened exactly, because I use ssh most of the time to work on the machine. If I would have to guess, I would say 3 to 4 weeks ago.
I am using the base login, text only, no graphical interface.

After recent updates my system hangs on "Welcome to your box" green text for 4-5 seconds until
SliTaz GNU/Linux kernel
slitaz login:
if I set screen=text or before slim starts.
Downgrading busybox and disabling all run daemons,local.sh,network.sh didn't decrease the hang time.
