claws-mail Slitaz5 170305

claws-mail looks like it installs ok ie an icon appears in applications/internet...but its nonfuntional when clicked.

In sakura terminal the following appears 'tux@Tower:~$ claws-mail

claws-mail: error while loading shared libraries: libarchive.so.13: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory'

I cant find 'libarchive.so.13' using search in slitaz panel.

I could use thunderbird - I know that works but was interested in trying a light weight mail client.

The library is missing in the claws-mail receipt.

Install libarchive manually ...

tazpkg -gi libarchive

... and try if you can run claws-mail.

whacko - ta Darjeeling - that sorted it.

made the error of thinking I had to find the file with 'so.13' attached to the name.

Guess I owe you a cup of tea for fixing that...next time youre in New Zealand.
