Hello. Just few words to tell you and to support team that the installation I've made today is silly ;-)
The shorcuts for LibreOffice apps (writer, calc, and so on) are PRESENT in the "application menu" BUT they can't launch anything !
In order to use LibreOffice, I must go to /usr/bin. , and double-click on the libreoffice binary launcher

And there isn't any integration whith Gtk theme.

on my two netbooks, it's simple :
first one : application is launching using libreoffice or libreoffice5.2. Shortcuts available.
second one : application is launching using libreoffice only, no shortcut at all, terminal/command launch only

You haven't understood really :
(1) I've shortcuts in my LxPanel menu, BUT they arent't launch Libre Office.
(2) Libreoffice isn't in the default path, so I can't start it from a simple terminal
For me, it'w a wrong install ...

Hi,
After fresh install (5.3), you have to do :
rm -f /usr/bin/soffice /usr/bin/libreoffice5.3
ln -sf /usr/lib/libreoffice5.3/program/soffice /usr/bin/libreoffice5.3
Because "/usr/bin/libreoffice5.3" target is wrong (/opt...), and the .rpm doesn't use "libreoffice5.3" as main command but "soffice" (even if it is libreoffice5.3 by default in .desktop launchers...)
/usr/bin/get-LibreOffice needs corrections, and depend "java6-jre" can be removed.

Thanks, Alex_K for your reply. For me, I've juste tuned the *.dekstop files.
But, I can't use the Gtk Integration, nothing seems recognized, and I must remain with the * ugly * VCL compenents.
Nevertheless, I continue to browse websites, in order to find where is coded in the *Ui* the colors, the default font, and so on ...
I've found some tricks for old OopenOffice installs, and for previois version of LibreOffice (4.xx) but nothing for the 5.xx series.
Another concern : the bad "normal" template installed : if you want to use another language than english (in the spell checker) you must modify the "normal" template with the desired language.
But, Lo works, it starts quicky on my old Medion Akoya, so I'm happy :-)

your solution should work;
but (there is a but) for end-user purposes (slitaz is an end-user distro), a common user should not do that.
it's like fedora 22 when released, LVM installation was not working at all.
sometimes, linuxes are not tested enough before releasing what is called 'stable' release in IT..

your solution does work.
But I don't understand why.
The script for get-LibreOffice contain all commands which are necessary for any sucess, but it don't seams to work probably. I don't no why.

I'm very, very, happy ! After hours of inefficient web browsing to fix the ugly aspect of LO 5.3 under Slitaz, I've finally get it working with Gtk 3 theme :-)
As usual, it's due to incorrect installation of LO 5.3.
Check if there is a directory in /opt
named /opt/libreOffice5.3/
AFTER you've installed LO5.3
If Yes, then launch pcmanfm as ROOT (but be very careful !)
Under PcmanFm, please open a second tab (CTRL+T) in order to quicky paste an copy from /opt (source) and /usr/lin (destination)
1/ go to /opt/libreoffice5.3 directory
2/ you can see two sub-directories :
/program
/share
3/ Enter in /program, select all files, and copy them (cTRL+C)
4/ go to the second tab
5/ go to /usr/lib/libreOffice5.3/program/ durectory
6/ Paste the files (CTRL+V)
7/ Re-open the first tab
8/ go to /opt/libreOffice5.3/share/registry directory
9/ copt the file(s) (CTRL+C)
10/ open the second tab
11/ goto /usr/lib/LibreOffice5.3/share/registry
12/ paste the file (gnoem.xcd)
That's all ;-)
An now start LibreOffice.
