GUI Package Manager Issue

Hi Everyone. New to Slitaz and am loving it so far. However, I have run into one issue with the gui package manager. When I click the icon it prompts for credentials. However it will only accept my user credentials not my root credentials. That provides me access to the package manager, but prevents me from actually installing.

However, I can open the terminal and use my root credentials to access [c]su[/c]. From there, I can [c]tazpkg get-install <<package>>[/c], [c]tazpkg -r <<package>>[/c], etc with no issues.

How can I fix the issue that I am running into with the gui package manager?

Re: GUI Package Manager Issue

Hmm, this was possible for Slitaz4.0, but for weekly-5.0 the only solution is to login as root in slim.

Re: GUI Package Manager Issue

slitaz-rolling.iso built 2017-07-09 with md5sum of b1bebab92d1ffb71392277238d84faaf

tazpanel authentication works with default password root and after changing root password in either terminal or tazpanel. Tazpanel package manager gui was able to recharge, add, and remove packages.
