password for root transactions using sudo

I feel me pissed on in the actual new SliTaz64: sudo does not work any more without password.

Is that normal or did I made an error (because I did have great difficulties to start in commando line!)?

Can I change it in the user management or is it better to reinstall correctly if really an error?

To run sudo without password is stupid....

Hi Kultex,

I don't know but it is so and it is very helpful for people making the most that they do in CLI mode (as I do)... And it continue to be actual in SliTaz and operate perfectly now on my PC.

My error: I did not use TazPanel for a long time but did do first all in the console this time!

If you invoque TazPanel soon and if you confirm «save the password for the TazPanel access, the sudo access become given to "tux" as I did report in my first message above.

sorry - I dont understand you

I never use tazpanel - I do everything in console

I use sakura, where I have the user terminal and the root-terminal - this is clear and secure.

Sudo is not part of the iso - if you install sudo you have to configure sudo

You need to understand that using sudo without a password means that anybody (man or process) having access to userspace will have full access to all your system... which is not exactly the Unix philosophy.

But of course, it's your computer - your rules.
