amuled (amule-daemon)

Hello forum!

I'm searching the 'whole' wide web for amuledx.x.x.tazpkg but I'm not able to find it. Could someone help me? Could you please compile it? I have never compiled a package before.

Thank you so much.

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

Hi,

Maybe a stupid question, but what's amuled?

There is a package amule (without d).

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

Hi,

amuled is the NOGUI-version of amule, it has the same functions but it needs 1/10 of the ram and cpu and is ideal for a NAS or a headless server, I'm using an old cubovision atom ce 1gb ram and amuled would be great for this.

Amuled works also on my openwrt modem with 64mb of ram!! ;-)

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

ciao gibor!

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

Hello,

I get this error:

[p2p@localhost dati]$ /usr/bin/amuled -e

/usr/bin/amuled: error while loading shared libraries: libbfd-2.25.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I installed this packages on slitaz 4.0:

amule-2.3.2.tazpkg      -from 5.0 repo

and these other files from 4.0 repo

wxWidgets

libupnp

libbfd

xorg-libXxf86vm

libxml2

pkg-config

atk

cairo

tiff

pango

pixman

xorg-libXcomposite

xorg-libXcursor

xorg-libXdamage

xorg-libXfixes

xorg-libXinerama

xorg-libXxf86vm

xorg-libXext

xorg-libXfixes

xorg-libXrender

slitaz-base-files

gcc-lib-base

libxcb

xorg-libXdmcp

xorg-libXau

pixman

so I don't know where to find libbfd-2.25.so...

thankyou

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

[p2p@localhost dati]$ /usr/bin/amuled -e

/usr/bin/amuled: error while loading shared libraries: libbfd-2.25.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

tazpkg setup-mirror  #digita alla richiesta "New mirror(s) URL:"

http://mirror.slitaz.org/packages/cooking/ #poi

tazpkg recharge

tazpkg -gi libbfd

qualora servano altri pacchetti

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

@ camelseller,

I don't think that packages compiled for SliTaz 5.0 (kernel 3.16.55) can work correctly with kernel Slitaz 4.0 (kernel 2.6.37)

libbfd-2.25.so is in [c]binutils[/c] and [c]libbfd[/c] packages for SliTaz 5.0 only:

[c]# tazpkg search-pkgname libbfd-2.25.so

Search result for package "libbfd-2.25.so"

================================================================================

binutils

libbfd

================================================================================

2 packages[/c]

You should install SliTaz Rolling.

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

amule has libbfd as DEPENDS.

The libbfd pkg receipt has WANTED="binutils"

There is a duplication of 2 packages owning libbfd-2.25.so

I already had binutils installed, when I tried to install libbfd:

root@slitaz:/home/tux# tazpkg -gi libbfd

binutils-2.25.tazpkg 100% |*******************************|  1074k  0:00:00 ETA

"binutils" package is already installed.

You can use the --forced option to force installation.

Tazpkg should have auto-installed libbfd if your connected to the internet.

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

ok, now the error

"libbfd-2.25.so"

is gone but I get this error

[p2p@localhost root]$ amuled -f

2018-10-13 10:37:20: amuled.cpp(667): amuled: forking to background - see you

and amuled is closed.

What does mean

"/lib/libz.so.1: no version information available"?

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

Wrong install path of libz.so.1 on your system results in linker version error:

Your system:

"/lib/libz.so.1: no version information available"?

Slitaz:

/usr/lib/libz.so.1

tux@slitaz:~$ tazpkg search-file libz.so.1

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

thankyou mojo, I think you're right:

[c] tazpkg search-file libz.so.1

Search result for file : libz.so.1

================================================================================

Package zlib :

/usr/lib/libz.so.1.2.11

/usr/lib/libz.so.1

================================================================================

2 file(s) found for : libz.so.1

[/c]

and this is my situation

[c] find / -name libz.so*

/lib/libz.so.1.2.3

/var/lib/libz.so.1.2.3

/usr/lib/libz.so.1.2.11[/c][c]

I tried

[/c][c]tazpkg get-install zlib --forced[/c]

but I got

[c]zlib-1.2.11

wget: error while loading shared libraries: libz.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

/usr/bin/tazpkg: line 398: /var/cache/tazpkg/zlib-1.2.11.tazpkg: No such file or directory

/usr/bin/tazpkg: line 408: /tmp/tazpkg-7611-8054/receipt: No such file or directory

/usr/bin/tazpkg: line 596: /var/cache/tazpkg/zlib-1.2.11.tazpkg: No such file or directory

/usr/bin/tazpkg: line 601: /tmp/tazpkg-7611-8054/receipt: No such file or directory[/c]

It seems to me that it's not safe to replace the existing zlib package.

What can I do?

Re: amuled (amule-daemon)

@gibor

Grazie.
