duel boot with windows but get grub error re missing file

Trying to install with windows xp as a duel boot.

but on booting slitaz get an 'error 11 unrecognized device or omitted required device…"

install bootfiles… ls : bzimage*: no such file or directory

being a linux learner Im not sure wot the problems is..??

Maybe only a typo in your menu.lst file: check you have written [c]bzImage[/c] (with uppercase for "i").

[c]unrecognized device[/c] it seems there is a problem with the [c]root(hdX,Y)[/c] instruction.

Copy paste the entry for SliTaz of your configuration file in your next post.
