updating issue

I am using a full hard disc install of Slitaz 5 32 bit rolling on my cf-28 toughbook (Pent 3M). I have not used it for a couple of weeks and checked today and found just of 100 updates. When I toggle all and try to update it will update one or two and then hang with 'loading' displayed at the bottom of the update page. Trying to update one or 2 at a time hangs too.

I have disabled updates on a couple of firmware items as they stop the wifi and sound. (see this post here.

Any suggestions please.

Thanks

Re: updating issue

Maybe a problem with the installed version of TazPkg?

Update TazPkg first:

[c]tazpkg -gi tazpkg --forced[/c]

and then try to update your distro again.

Re: updating issue

Thanks for the response Ceel. The distro seemed messed up for some reason so I did a fresh install.  Now updates and installs 99% but still fails on 5 updates. I'll leave it for the time being.

Re: updating issue

Just an update. This has rectified itself. All updates to present done including those that previously wiped out wifi and sound but they're fine now.????
