Hi
I've been installing the Pale Moon tazpkg packages made by I-Jurij in his small repo but his repo is now dead and his last Pale Moon tazpkg was version 27.9.3.
Do anybody compile Pale Moon tazpkg after 27.9.3?.
I would like to try too I-Jurij oldest Pale Moon tazpkgs, I took a look for his packages in archive.org just in case there was a copy kept there but nothing at all, do anybody know a site where they can still be all downloaded?.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi,
Maybe I still have this package but I'm not currently at home.
You can also install Pale Moon from the Slitaz repository:
[c]tazpkg -gi get-palemoon[/c]
installs the latest Pale Moon release.

I updated the wget_url and did a test install for get-palemoon script.
http://hg.slitaz.org/wok/rev/834e153416f0
http://cook.slitaz.org/cooker.cgi?pkg=get-palemoon
Installs palemoon-28.3.1 32-bit to /opt/palemoon
The installed package is called palemoon-opt
tux@slitaz:~$ tazpkg info palemoon-opt

Hi Ceel
I keep too some of I-Jurij Pale Moon tazpkg packages but I would like to keep all the ones he made.
Yes, I use the get-install get-palemoon command but I use Pale Moon on all my old laptops and I prefer to keep a tazpkg package on a CD so I can install it on all of them than having to download from the Pale Moon site the same version over and over for each laptop.
I suppose I-Jurij got tired of compiling the Pale Moon packages as 27.9.3 was his last one.
Thanks anyways.
Hi mojo
Thanks for updating the get-palemoon script.
The Pale Moon installed directly from the Pale Moon site through your script can be updated later with the browser itself(Help-About Pale Moon-Check for updates), the I-Jurij ones couldn't.
By the way, I don't know if you take care of the Clamtk package too or not but I read in its history that there was a problem with the recursive scans and that problem was solved on 4.37 version, the one in the repo is 4.36. It would be great if that package was updated to 4.37.
Thank you and any who maintain packages or Slitaz itself for your hard work.

Hi cray
Program installs using get scripts can be repacked into a tazpkg if done prior to modifying the files or in the case of palemoon-opt using the updater.
tux@slitaz:~$ tazpkg repack palemoon-opt
Repacking "palemoon-opt-28.3.1.tazpkg"
================================================================================
Package "palemoon-opt" repacked successfully.
Size: 40.5M palemoon-opt-28.3.1.tazpkg
Clamtk-4.37 is on the mirror.

Hi mojo
Thank you very much for compiling the Clamtk 4.37 package.
I tried your command "tazpkg repack palemoon-opt" but the result was "no package was found" so obviously I'm doing something wrong, I suppose the "if done prior to modifying the files" is involved in the resulting error message, anyways, I'll try to find info about rapackaging apps into a tazpkg in Slitaz docummentation.
As I said, thanks again.

I can't do it, I've read the Tazpkg Manual and the System Documentation but didn't find a step by step way of repacking an app that was installed with get-xxx scripts.
I install Palemoon with command tazpkg get-install get-palemoon and then I go to cd /opt/palemoon and then I type your command tazpkg repack palemoon-opt and the result now is can't repack md5sum error.
Any help is appreciated.

You seem to be running the command properly.
Download my repack here:

Hi mojo
I'm not sure how many times I said but it won't hurt to say it one more time... Thank you.
Next time I'll try to run your repack command right after manually updating Pale Moon and see if the error persists after a fresh new version.
I would love to keep a complete Pale Moon tazpkg collection like the I-Jurij one so if you know any extra docummentation about repacks or if there's a different way to create tazpkg packages please tell me where can I read about it.
By the way, someone, probably you?, spent his/her precious time updating clamav and clamtk to their latest versions but clamtk doesn't start when I press its accessories icon.
Greetings from Spain
