PXE pain in the autoloader !! /opt missing

Hello ,

i tried nearly everything and the keyboard is just short before hitting the  wall @ 200mph ...

I managed to create a custom ISO ( 5.0 core64, firefox, curl , sshfs , lftp ,bash).

tazlito is extremely undocumented in certain parts (gen-initiso after gen-distro e.g.)

now the strange thingy:

booting from cd rom renders everything normal , there is even a task bar and firefox is in $PATH ..

booting from pxe (same rootfs.gz) with or without overlay file  works, but there is no task bar , THE FOLDER /opt/ IS MISSING COMPLETELY and as a result firefox is not working . '

(and no ,it has to be pxe ( mass rollout) , don't answer "use hard disk"/"use cdrom" .. )

Any ideas ?

1- russian dolls live CD ?

2- customized live CD (/usr/share/boot/README.custom) ?

3- pxe/tftp maximum file size (maybe 64M) ?

In this case, try to build a small rootfs (with firefox...) for pxe and a local.sh that download the

extra rootfs (wget -O - ftp://somewhere/rootfs | cpio -idmu),

or send ipxe as kernel with a script.ipxe as rootfs. See http://mirror1.slitaz.org/pxe/ipxe/
