Performance kernels

Why does slitaz not use performance kernels like liquorix or xamnod by default?

Wouldnt it work even faster and have better throughput?

Why it is not clear? You can make a kernel, that’s orientated on performance, like rt-kernels for Linux distributions for audio- or video cutting - like av-Linux or you make a kernel for everyday work like office, surfing or watching videos, where it’s not so important, that the governor is set on performance - this saves specially on older computers quite a lot of energy  -  up to 15W.

If you really want you easyliy you can change the performance to performance

This doc is for 4.0 - so you just have to set the governor

Ok so your reasoning for not is ng performance kernels is they are optimized on saving energy ... But then isnt that good?

Higher battery life ...

Also will the performance gocernor enable the cpu to enter deep c state
