An install of the standard firefox-official tazpkg went well, but I noticed the installed language was USA English.
So, as I'm in the UK, I checked the language options, and installed firefox, but this time used the UK language version. On opening the browser, I'm presented with the Russian language ...
uk does not mean en-UK but ukrainian.
Sorry, there is (as with many packages and distributions) no
en-UK variant, which I too would strongly prefer against american English.

Hi there,
@mikey777, please read the package description carefully:
Official Firefox build by the Mozilla foundation (Ukrainian language).
You may be interested in examining Firefox releases (divided to the different directories according to the language codes) here.
Additionally, I've added the firefox-official-en-GB to the Cooking repo.
Official Firefox build by the Mozilla foundation (English language for Great Britain).
Please, grab it here (51.1MB).

@Alexsej
Many thanks for your help with this, and the links you've included - much appreciated.
I think the BUG was in my brain - I laughed when I saw my misinterpretation of the package name - Ukraine not UK! :-()
Will the package install to both 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Slitaz?
Hi again, Alexej.
With the link you gave above, I now have the following package in Downloads:
cooker.cgi?download=firefox-official-en-GB-68.0.tazpkg
It's unclear to me what I should do next - is it ...
# cd /home/tux/Downloads
# tazpkg install cooker.cgi?download=firefox-official-en-GB-68.0.tazpkg
?
I had a look at firefox-official version 68, under 'Packages' in the Slitaz Panel. It is listed there (in blue font), along with the different language versions, but I didn't see firefox-official-en-GB-68.0 listed - shouldn't it be?
I see firefox-official-en-GB-68.0 is now listed in 'Packages/Extras'
Many thanks for this :-)
You are welcome!
