Hello,
I can't have my touchscreen working in Rolling.
I installed linux-input-touchscreen and had a look at the installed files but no driver related at an Elan touchscreen.

Is there a chance I can do it working?

does it work in next? - in my rootfs linux-input-touchscreen is included. My touch on the Acer works in next
it would be nice to get both dmesg outputs

I hope, this is myy touchscreen and not the touchpad...
EDIT: the elantec might be your touchpad and not the touchscreen
the elantec touchpad is not correct in next

Yes, the touchscreen works fine in Next; I even don't need to install linux-input-touchscreen. Probably because [c]CONFIG_TOUCHSCREEN_ELAN=m[/c].
Nothing concerning the touchscreen in the .log of Rolling.
In Next, my Xorg.0.log looks like yours; nothing in dsmeg but something very similar in messages.

and it cannot work in rolling, because it is just available from 3.19 and not 3.16

you dont see it in the dmesg.log, because it stops to early (no idea why) - run dmesg > dmesg.txt
and you will find it....
