xsane french translation / simple-scan available ?

Hi,

- I don't find a french translation for xsane so it works fine but in english language

Could you explain me how to add the french translation ?

- I use in another linux distro a great and slim soft to do scans with simple-scan.

But the package is not available for slitaz5.

Please, can you propose this soft ?

You can install this new package http://cook.slitaz.org/cooker.cgi?pkg=xsane-locales

FWI: tazpanel has a scanner gui in hardware menu if sane-backends is installed.

for the plugin gimp then

ln -s /usr/bin/xsane ~/.gimp-2.8/plug-ins/

on to menu of gimp select file > new > xsane

simple-scan actual version 3.34.2 needs gtk+3 version >= 3.22, but SliTaz has only 3.14.8, so it cannot be build by now.
