Wifi not working Broadcom

Hello.

Wifi not working, but cable internet working.

Chip model: Broadcom Limited BCM43142 802.11b/g/n

Hi..I attempted numerous orders/fixes proposed on the web, yet none of them worked.

It's an old Latitude D-620 PC, it was all the while working fine so I chose to introduce Linux Mint on it to utilize this PC. I figured out how to make wifi work around then (on 17.1). In any case, presently with this new form I can't make sense of it, haven't been working throughout the day yesterday, scratching my head, attempting many fixes, none of them appeared to work.
