Get error when load the live iso from usb

When I load the live iso, I get an error message when I try to run the linux.

Failed to load COM32 file c32box.32

Shows me the text boot:, but then goes back to the main menu.

Running this on a pentium m laptop with 1gb memory.

Any ideas how to fix this?

It seems the c32box.c32 file is missing in /boot/syslinux. How did you create the live?

From the main menu, selecting [c]SliTaz core Live[/c] should work if the computer has at least 256MB.

Thanks Ceel for the reply.

I used the program yumi to put the iso onto the usb disk.  Yumi allows multiple linux on the one usb key.

I then tried rufus so Slitaz is the only distrution on the usb key, and tried on a different computer.

I get a message: c32box.c32: not a COM32R image, with boot: underneath it.

I downloaded the rolling version. Did I download the correct one?

I am in the process of downloading a flavor: slitaz-3.0-xvesa.iso to see if this one works.

I have got other distributions to work.  Am I doing something wrong or using the program to put the iso onto a usb key?

Just a quick update. Put slitaz-3.0-xvesa.iso, one of the flavours onto a usb key, and this worked perfectly.

There must be an issue with the rolling version iso.

Do you recommend any others to try out?

SliTaz 3.0-vesa doesn't test the quantity of RAM at boot, that's why you don't have the error message.

Yumi probably uses a different release of syslinux that the one used in SliTaz Rolling.

Try to unzip the c32box.c32 and vesamenu.c32 files (see http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/boot-errors-when-trying-to-create-usb-install-of-latest-5-rolling-core).

Or use XBOOT as suggested by pinkdragonfruit in the same topic. Hope it still working, it's already three years old.

Thank you.  Used XBOOT with the iso, and this worked.  Didn't know how to find the c32box.32 and vesamenu.32 files.  Looked at the forum link provided, but found it a bit difficult.
