Slitaz usb not booting

Put slitaz on an external usb harddrive and usb I get as far as the boot screen that gives options of the type of boot. It counts down to go to next process but instead of continuing it just goes around in a loop of doing the count down I'm stuck on the boot screen.

Slitaz 4 this is on not tries version 3
