The SliTaz website ...

... has been behaving a bit strange since a couple of days. Most pages seem to be loading multiple times in rapid succession, which makes them look flickering for the first fraction of a second.

Re: The SliTaz website ...

Pages not fully loaded. E.g. http://forum.slitaz.org/ almost always ends on the devel entry of Community Groups. Refreshing several times it happens that it can reach the end of the page

But the next attempt is referred to as described above.

Re: The SliTaz website ...

The error still persist on Firefox at least, however cleaning out the cache data from the browser for this site and then login and view the post as "new" allow the post to be shown as intended, but just the first post you visit.

it seems (following the page source downloaded by the browser), it halt at this line

class='bb_attachments' should be somewhere before the FORM

at least here in my browser...

Hello,

I can confirm that it seems to be a problem... I have to refresh the page a lot of time to read the new messages.

Re: The SliTaz website ...

The SliTaz project always lacks of servers.

It was based on 3 machines

- tank, the cooker with sporadic heavy load http://tank.slitaz.org/

- mirror1 with high throughput http://mirror1.slitaz.org/info/

- pangolin forum and misc services http://pangolin.slitaz.org/

Time after time we lost sponsors and hardware. The machines go virtual.

Last month we lost our last dedicated hardware host (for the 3 VM) and I had to move the VM on a heavy loaded host and run them at low priority.

Re: The SliTaz website ...

Strangely, no problem (or very few) to access the website from palemoon (28.15.0) excepted for the topic slitaz rolling (5) install error - eeePC 900 for which one I need to be logged to see more than 2 posts ???

Exactly the same with Netsurf (3.10, from another distro).

Re: The SliTaz website ...

Hi, Pascal,

It looks there's another problem is related with VM migration.

I can't update my local wok (I use it to make the additional full Github mirror). So, I've renamed "wok" to "wok.broken" and tried to make all from the scratch: to clone wok. No luck.

I've renamed "wok.broken" back to "wok" and tried to update it. No luck. But "wok-next" did not show any problems.

PS. Most likely, this is not specifically about the "wok" and "wok-next" repositories, but about the repositories with and without changes.

Re: The SliTaz website ...

I am experiencing one of the issues mentioned above.  Some threads won't finish drawing the last messages or even the reply box, without multiple multiple refreshes.  I tried another browser and same thing happens...

Re: The SliTaz website ...

Hi Aleksej,

Shann provides us a fast machine to host SliTaz VM http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/purpose-of-sponsor#post-49667

Pangolin has already migrated and forum & hg problems have gone.

Mirror & tank will move too in few days.

Huge thanks to Shann !

Re: The SliTaz website ...

Hi Aleksej,

Hi Pascal,

Replication of the repositories works well now. Update is made by script working on my laptop on a hourly basis.

Huge thanks for you and Stanislas for supporting the project!
