Shows only X after booting

Hello,

after the last upgrade (by console) the system dont show the desktop, its starting to the black screen with X as curser (see on pics).

Processor IntelAtom.

I think its a problem with the xorg-server, but how can solved?

Conflict caused by reinstall of lxsession046-0.4.6.1 overwriting common files owned by lxsession-0.5.5.

While lxappearance046 is a dependency of lxde there is nothing I've found that fails to run on my system with it removed.

The terminal commands for the proper removal of lxsession046 and reinstall of lxsession  is here:

Its very great your help.

But my Slitaz still don't work, same black screen with the X as before.

I followed your hopeful steps, but without success. That I made:

Go to virtual terminal 2:

ctrl-alt+F2

Login user root, password root.

Remove lxsession046,do not remove or reinstall lxde.

tazpkg remove lxsession046

Hit n for no when prompted to remove or reinstall it's reverse dependency lxde.

Force install lxsession-0.5.5:

tazpkg -gi lxsession-0.5.5 --forced

Type reboot

Hit Enter key

Same result. What can do?

Mojo, many thanks for your help, always so long I used Slitaz. I take many of your posts in past and can always bring back Slitaz to running. But this time its not possible. This error seems a big problem!

I used Slitaz appr. 6 years, but now I perhaps will leave Slitaz. I can not understand, why the maker of Slitaz produce in the upgrades always mistakes, in case this time a so big problem, that a running system dont work after upgrade!!!

The reason I didn't reinstall lxde is it re-installs lxsession046 that broke my lxsession.

Downgrade using attached dbus and dbus-helper:

tazpkg install dbus-1.12.16.tazpkg --forced

tazpkg install dbus-helper-1.12.16.tazpkg --forced

FOR FUTURE (now I will install another slim Linux on my old notebook) but I hope the makers fix the problem in some of the next upgrades automaticly.

Time by time I will make a upgrade and hope the system will work somtime again.
