silicon motion lynxEM

I would like to run Slitaz 3 on my Panasonic cf-28 which has a P3 Pentium @ 600 MHz. The screen has a 2 inch boarder all around and the desktop does not fill the screen. The graphics chipset is silicon motion lynxEM. I searched and found some old posts about similar problems but I couldn’t understand them. Can someone enlighten me in an easy step by step way if it is possible to get the graphics to work properly.

In case you’re wondering Slitaz 4 and rolling will not load at all. 3 works fine other than this screen issue.

What is in the /var/log/Xorg.0.log?

And in which way the 4 and rolling are not starting? Are there any error messages?

Btw, I even have a CF-28 around^^ So drop a line if you not suceed.
