Is the project alive?

I would really like to help this project, but as I see the community has died out ... And this makes me very sad. How many developers are currently active?

I don't think it's dead. Have you seen the place where shann posts his work? He's the guy in the "Slitaz future" thread. You can probably download everything and read the thread. I would do so too, but I'm in my final school year, so I can't dig into Linux, I have to dig into my subjects. The book I recommend is The Linux Command Line, which seems pretty comprehensive.
