Japanese input with SCIM+Anthy

Install the necessary items

There are three things you need to install to use SCIM+Anthy.

anthy

scim-anthy

scim-anthy was recently added to the package. How should I install it?

I'm not a developer, and I don't know if there is anything in the repos that would serve your purpose.

As sources you install the build packages (git slitaz-toolchain etc.) on slitaz and then you can use the following links

scim-1.2.0

anthy-5100

https://ftp.halifax.rwth-aachen.de/osdn/anthy/8433/anthy-5100.tar.gz

scim-anthy

https://github.com/leggewie-DM/scim-anthy

I don't try, as I don't read or understand those characters.

In any case, if you have a good knowledge of compilation you should be able to do it.

Installation from SliTaz package repository (as user root):

- from the command line:

  # tazpkg -gi scim-anthy

- from SliTaz Panel

  Packages

    select scim-anthy and install
