Problem whit custom LiveCD

Hi, i use an old laptop whit no keyboard hehe. And use a ssd card whit ventoy to boot.

To save my changges, i build a new liveCD. On slitaz rolling core thats works great. But when i tray to do the same on slitaz core 4, when i boot, appears they login screen and i can't do anything.

I want to get liveCD of slitaz4 because vlc don't work on My slitaz rolling.

Hi,

Infact without keyboard, can be more difficult.

You said for rolling it's work but not for 4.0, normally at boot time we have autologin option on cmdline.

Suggest to boot on device with keyboard, do modifications define keyboard, install stuff and use this command to generate iso.

With this, you are modifications inside iso and also keyboard / locale already define.

But in case of custom iso, i don't sure we have autologin option at boot.

Think we need adjust /etc/slim.conf and ensure this option is set at bottom config file

What don't work with vlc on rolling ?

Also concerning current isos, i don't build vlc, not available at time on current repo.

Curious about your laptop hardware .

On my side i have dell x300 (pentium M 1.2Ghz / 1Go RAM), and eeepc 1215N (atom D525 1.8Ghz / 4Go RAM).

Perfect for test both versions x32 on dell, x64 on eeepc

Hi shann, this is a netbook(32bits) whit Intel atom, 1gb ram, no keyboard, no hdd. Boot from ssd card whit 4gb, using ventoy, because is a easy way to test livecd every time. I use a decent Photoshop, WinRAR, firefox, to tranfer files Samba, and i use my mobile as keyboard whit x11vnc. Slitaz work very well for my use.

On slitaz rolling, what's the name of the default media player? Its works very well. I want to configure some keys of keyboard to do "play" "pause" "next" actions.
