xine engine error with xine-ui-0.99.10.tazpkg on slitaz-rolling-core64.iso (2024-01-07)

Hi,

I booted with a new SliTaz 5.0 DVD from 2024-01-07 and installed xine with tazpkg -gi xine-ui. Then, when I start xine from the command line, a window pops up and says "xine engine error".

In the command line it says something about /usr/share/xine/skins/xine-ui_logo.png.

Videos could be played, but at the end every time the message "xine engine error" pops up.

Could You please fix the package, or tell me, that You can't solve it at the moment.

This problem is there for many years. It might be difficult. Now at least I try to talk about it.

Hi kubepc,

I check on my "current", i use xine-ui (0.99.13) and xine-lib (1.2.11) no issue.

On cooking, we have xine-ui 0.99.10 and xine-lib 1.2.10

With just rebuild xine-ui as 0.99.13 issue dissapear, i build also xine-lib 1.2.11.

I also downgrade gummi to 0.6.1 (avoid seg fault with glib)

thanks a lot. First I have installed xine-lib and then xine-ui. Now xine-ui works fine.
