SliTaz SliTaz Forum archive

This forum is now a read-only archive

The SliTaz community has moved to Maille, a forum made for SliTaz.

We looked hard for a replacement for this aging forum, including a move from bbPress to FluxBB last June. But spam bots now get through sign-up even with mail confirmation, and these forum engines are barely maintained anymore. So we wrote a forum in the SliTaz spirit: small, fast, no JavaScript, works on old machines and in text browsers. Everything here stays readable.

Need Guidance as In what category should I post?

Hello, all!

This is my first post after just joining this discussion, so please forgive me and provide kind assistance if I have posted to the wrong subsection!

As a new member in this forum and wish to share and gain some knowledge. I am looking forward to create my own discussion to resolve my query and gain some knowledge though I have taken part in various discussion which is definitely helped me a lot.

Also in what category should be taken depends on what factors?

Thankyou in advance.

Re: Need Guidance as In what category should I post?

First of all, it depends on the language you speak. There are different language sections, but the English and French sections seem the most active.

Second, it depends on the question you ask. Since there aren't so many questions made in some languages, they do not have subsections. All questions in that language are in one place. But others do have subsections. If it is about games, post to "Games", if it is about hardware, post to "Hardware", if that hardware is a Wi-Fi card or a 4G receptor for example, post to "Wireless". SliTaz ARM and SliTaz 64 are for problems with those platforms.

I hope this is helpful.
