Rolling iso installed to hard drive ext3 - Keymap issuue - Resolved

Fresh install of Rolling iso installed to hard drive. US Keyboard shown as active but, latin-us keys are displayedw when typing. Simply changing keyboard layout to US does not change keymap. Tried logging in as root user as well and even rebooting machine but, did not fix issue of "keyboard layout not correct for setting shown and will not switch".

Resolution was to switch both the System Language and Keyboard layout to UK then switch back to US.  Simply logging out of session did not fix issue. Finally, rebooted machine and all US keyboard keys working properly.
