hello SliTaz users
I'm back here for this issue. The Oracle VM refuses to start up (inside slitaz 5 rolling), even if I've installed java. Please, have you an idea to solve it?
Thank you in advance for any help.

Please, I would kindly ask the SliTaz developers: is it possible to bundle up oracle VM with all the jawa requirements? This would be a strong and relevant improving for the distro, because after it, It will be possible intalling not only windows applications but all the operative systems applications etc etc...Thank you in advance for any answer. Best Regards.

cat /etc/slitaz-version
SliTaz GNU/Linux - 5.0-RC4 20251102
tazpkg search java
tazpkg -gi java-jdk
.....
java -version
java version "1.6.0_20"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.9.9) (linux-gnu build 1.6.0_20-b20)
OpenJDK Server VM (build 17.0-b16, mixed mode)

Hi,
After successfully build virtualbox-ose for "current", i begin to do same for rolling.
At time found root cause iasl updated from 20100915 > 20190215, after that virtualbox-ose build failed.
I try to rebuild it without success both 4.2.6 or latest 4.2.x branch

Due of last version available on 32bits, i try to build 5.2.44, need to add libQt5PrintSupport and openssl10-dev for bdeps, thanks gentoo bugtracker and distfiles to fetch very old patches.
Search "virtualbox patch Glsizeiptr" and found https://bugs.gentoo.org/907597 talk about [c]014_virtualbox-6.0.14-Glsizeiptr.patch[/c]
Infact build failed with clash function already declared Glsizeiptr, i patch and build seem in progress with lot of warning "deprecated declarations"

After battle and deep investigation build successfully virtualbox 4.3.40 for rolling
Not sure if relate to nested, can't run rolling vm inside, but modules loaded correctly
Need to rebuild receipt to include libvpx150 as depends.
Packages available here if you would try (virtualbox-ose-modules64 for running linux64 kernel else virtualbox-ose-modules)

Edit: I try to do same with 'current' vbox7 inside vbox7, vm not running inside but error not same talk about amd-v (no_svm) instead vboxdrv issue (module not match)

bonjour Shann

Think virtualbox doesn't like kernel 64 bits with 32 bits userland, i try to compile virtualbox with linux64-module-headers directly in case of mismatch but not work as expected, compilation failed.
But as see on picture, rolling with both 32 bits (kernel + userland), it's work well without issue.
