New forum (FluxBB) - Please reset your password

Welcome to the new SliTaz forum!

The old forum (bbPress) had become old and unmaintained, and was buried under thousands of spam "bozo" accounts. I did my best to find a viable alternative — modern, but light and not bloated, something cool that still runs fine on older browsers and low-spec machines, true to the SliTaz spirit.

So here we are on FluxBB: fast, server-rendered, almost no JavaScript, backed by a simple SQLite database. All your old topics and posts have been preserved.

One thing you need to do: for security reasons your old password could not be carried over. Please use "I've forgotten my password" on the login page to set a new one by email. New registrations now require email confirmation and a small anti-spam check.

Thanks for being here — happy hacking!

I hope you can restore.

Hi Pankso, I can assure you that I am not Colip, since I reset my password right away. Although I have to say that my email address hadn't been active for quite some time. The old forum didn't send notifications, so it wasn't necessary.
During the password recovery process, I simply entered an active email address, and everything went smoothly.
I’m no longer active on the forum because of something that happened: I had even written a post, which was then followed by a reply from Shann… but I was disappointed to see that the entire thread had been deleted.
This kind of thing isn’t right! Deleting, banning, or preventing anyone from speaking is the same as silencing them!
The result is obvious: If I can't speak, I'll have nothing left to say.

Re: New forum (FluxBB) - Please reset your password

HI Gibor,

Sorry for the name/login confusion.

I deeply understand you frustration about the deleted topic. Yes I removed it, and you was in the tread, sorry about that. Since I'm not going to blame, copy/past dev messages from our dev group and go into the drama things, I can only apology and hope you understand before judging people, one need the big picture, and even with a big picture, are we here to judge/blame others ?

What I can say is: I will not allow anyone blaming publicly any active dev for a mistake (I'm not the only one who got attacked).

We are a team of voluntaries who does it best for the all community. If one of us do a buggy commit then the other will fix it and go forwards, not making screenshots or point out a commit to say "Look the shit he did". WE ARE A TEAM, humains doing our best.

Technically, more than 2000 commits those lats mounts, way more than those last 5 years. So yes, some was not perfect, but always to bring SliTaz to the future. Even if some don't get the point about new things coming in, I can promise we want slitaz ready for the 20 next years.

That said, and I assume: asking is always welcome, saying shit about others will lead into a ban. This is a support forum for users.
