Can't install Firefox inside a VirtualBox virtual machine, or anything

Hello all,
I had to login into this forum for a second time because I'm not sure what happened to my previous account, but I can't login anymore. So I created a new one.
Anyways, I'm trying now Slitaz inside a virtual machine, and well, I see there been problems recently and I can see them too (someone messed up the database while updating it, and some packages are removed too).
On the terminal in my virtual machine it says something like "There was a checksum error...Wait till the mirror synchronization is complete."
If anyone is having same issues, please help.
I would help too if I knew how to do it correctly...

Make sure you use the new mirror:

# echo "https://mirror.slitaz.org/i486/cooking/packages/"   > /var/lib/tazpkg/mirror
