I'm using Fedora to set up a live usb stick with unetbootin. I can't get the slitaz-4.0.iso image to boot, although the slitaz-4.0-firefox.iso image works fine. Both MD5s check out. kernel panics:
[c]VFS: Cannot open root device "(null)" or unknown-block(0,66)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option; here are the available options:
(...)
Kernel Panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,66)[/c]
I assume this is unetbootin's doing?
"Default" -- Kernel Panics
/ubnkern initrd=/ubninit 192M core 160M gtkonly 100M justx 48M base noram
"SliTaz Live" -- Says "Could not find image 192M"
/boot/isolinux/ifmem.c32 initrd=/ubninit 192M core 160M gtkonly 100M justx 48M base noram
"SliTaz core Live" -- Kernel Panics
/boot/bzImage initrd=/ubninit rw root=/dev/null vga=normal autologin

Just use http://mirror.slitaz.org/iso/stable/flavors/slitaz-4.0-core.iso
Unetbootin doesn't like the 4-in-1 russian doll type rootfs.gz that the default iso uses.

Okay, thank you! I wish the documentation had mentioned that. All I could find was that one blog.
