Hey,
I just installed SliTaz 4.0, and i am really liking it. had a bit of an issue with the wireless at the beginning , (my only source of internet is an iphone - which i cant seem to get to work either) but i got the wireless working.
all that aside, my only problem is that my university has a wireless network which requires a username and password to connect to it .. is this possible in taz? and how will i go about doing it .
Thanks,
Samuel

the only catch with it is that the router has no password... so when i leave the password blank, it doesnt connect at all.
the university uses x-pressconnect to load in the details. and that program doesnt work on slitaz.. and "there is no network deamon present"
is it possible to install a network deamon on there ? such as nm-applet or such ?
Try Ubuntu 12.04 , it's the only linux distro xpressconnect supports.

linux mint, you can connect straight to it .. and enter the username and password in the wireless configuration. was just wondering if i could get it to work on slitaz.
is there anyway that internet tethering from an iphone would work on taz?
