nvidia ION on eeepc 1215n

Hi, first of all thank you for this fantastic tiny distro. maybe I'm the only Persian user of slitaz, greetings from Iran...

I own a 1215n Asus eeepc. I need to turn the nvidia ION off. I searched a lot, but couldn't find any issue about nvidia ION graphic cards in slitaz.

in debian, there is a project calling Bumblebee / deBumblebee, by which we can turn on/off the nvidia card. I installed bumblebee in slitaz (!) but it's useless for now.

I need to insert a module "acpi_call" to be able to disable nvidia card completely. there is a deb package acpicall-dkms which does this in debian. now, how can I do this? is it possible?

I tried to install non-free nvidia drivers. but it seems nvidia definitely loves fighting! I followed lots of instructions in this forum and even all over the world wide web!!! finally, I found a patch that makes the nvidia installer compatible to 2.6.+ but again without any success. every time nvidia says unable to find source, unable to insert module, unable to FFFFFF.  etc... :X

I installed the nvidia drivers from package manager, but it's 173. and says it's too old for my hardware. and I have no GUI after installing this pckages from package manager.

Just tell me how to turn off the nvidia. it's eating my battery!

p.s:

1215n eeepc has Intel + Nvidia (ION), which intel is enough for everything, even compiz. Nvidia should be ON only for games, HD videoes, and such jobs that need a higher process.

yesss. Finally I disabled nvidia. this is how to:

1- install linux-module-headers

2- download acpi_call from here: https://github.com/mkottman/acpi_call

3- cd to acpi_call directory

4- type make in terminal.

5- type /sbin/insmod acpi_call.ko (this loads acpi_call module to the kernel) ( I must find out how can I make it automatic in slitaz)

every laptop has a special nvidia card, in my 1215n to disable the card, download this file and run it with sh.

(it does not work now. due to nvidia module which is not in modules.dep)

now I have 4.40 min battery life. (instead of 3 hours!)

so there is no need to install nvidia driver. but it would be good if anyone could help me to install it.
