since slitaz-3 has come to an end, I tried slitaz-4.
without knowing to much about linux and how to backup the settings, I have to do them manully after installation of slitaz-4.
I got most of them back, but the on/off button at the upper right hand corner disappeared.
can someone kindly point out how can I get it back ?

This removes regular user tux's custom panel configuration.
Change to default should restore the logoff button in the upper right hand corner.
If user account has different name replace tux with it.
[c]rm /home/tux/.config/lxpanel/default/panels/*[/c]

Hi Mojo,
I am not too sure if I can follow that.
how to change to default ?
the user account is tux.
my /home/tux/.config/lxpanel continues with /slitaz/panels/bottom(file) and panel(file).
shall I remove both of them ?

Before you remove the bottom and panel file:
Logout of Xsession
At login screen:
Login as root password root
If you see the on/off button when logged in as root deleting the bottom and panel files for user tux should restore the on/off button for tux.

thanks
