Gibor thanks for the report. This is when backing up the computer pays off.
I think this caused the problem:
Up: util-linux (2.21.1) no longer util-linux-ng:
http://hg.slitaz.org/wok/rev/d35ad056f90e
If there are receipts with util-linux-ng* as DEPENDS in cooking they will be edited.
It needs to be made clear that tazpkg doesn't auto-remove any packages.
Tazpkg lists the packages that will break if it removes a package.
The following packages depend on <package.name> :
Remove <package.name> ?
Please confirm uninstallation (y/N) :
If you hit the y key and remove the package then it asks if you want to remove the packages which are now broken.
Remove packages depending on <package.name> (y/N) ?
Never hit the y key.
Tazpanel/Packages doesn't give the user an option to remove packages because they are missing depends.
The packages remain on your system.

Confirmation is not expected with the tazpanel
automatically performs with a yes
who is it that makes this in sltaz4 (yad?)
However, for clarification I attach the installer log
